Phillip Lim’s 2012 collections scream me this year. With clean lines and subtle chic, his pieces are elegant, feminine and sleek. The collections have a transcending palette from brights in his resort collection, fading into nudes and sweet pastels in Spring, and complemented by floral patterns and neutral colours coming into the newest Summer collection. His pieces are timeless and make a statement through their uncompromised tailoring and detail. His collections always subtly explore trends without explicitly over designing. I love his garments and l know l am getting a piece which l can wear over and over again.
